Are You Oblivious?

Many, even professed Christians, will say that God has gone silent. Many will say that God no longer communicates with man, as we see happening all throughout scripture.

I do not believe this idea. People can no longer sense Yahweh because they are no longer in covenant with Him. Not because of choices that Yahweh has made, but because of the choices men have made.

Noah’s flood caught men by surprise. They did not expect it.
Yeshua’s (Jesus’) first coming caught the Pharisees by surprise. They didn’t expect Him, they didn’t recognize Him, and they killed Him.

He will return again.
Will you be surprised?
Will you recognize Him?
Do you hear His voice?
Do you follow His voice?

Don’t be unaware. Don’t be oblivious to His coming.
Don’t be caught off guard, preoccupied, and unprepared.
Seek truth and believe it. He will speak truth to you, if you turn to Him and listen to His voice.

2Corinthians 3:14-16

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Do you ever feel like Yahweh does not hear your prayers?
Proverbs 28:9
One who turns his ear from hearing Torah
—even his prayer is an abomination.

Do you know His Torah?
Do you honor and keep His Torah?

Do not be blind.
Do not be deceived.
Do not be oblivious.
Turn to Him, not to an ‘idea’ of Him that may or may not be correct.
And then you will hear and see.
