It is quite unbelievable that this topic needs to be discussed.
But, here goes…
I have had church pastors tell me that Jesus committed sin.
I see numerous people making this claim today.
Have these people not read their bibles?
How is it possible they do not understand this very basic premise of the scriptures?
For those who might be confused about this issue, I present you with a few quoted scripture verses:
1Peter 2:21-22
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”
2Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
1John 3:5
And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
Scripture is quite clear that Messiah did not commit sin.
We don’t need these verses, though.
This should just be common sense.
The wages of sin is death, as we are told in Romans.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death…
But Messiah did not earn the wages of sin, and therefore, He was able to overcome death:
Revelation 1:18
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Acts 2:23-24
“… this Yeshua Messiah, given over by God’s predetermined plan and foreknowledge, nailed to the cross by the hand of lawless men, you killed. 24 But God raised Him up, releasing Him from the pains of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held by it.”

If Messiah had sinned, then He could not and did not overcome death, and death would have held Him.
But we are told otherwise.
He did not sin.
The most basic premise of the life of our Savior is that He did not sin.
How are people getting this wrong? It is because they do not know the scriptures.
Even self-proclaimed experts…
Those with theology degrees hanging on their office wall…
Those who went to bible school and seminary…

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

What does Yeshua Messiah say about these people and their followers?
Matthew 15:14
“Leave them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
