I have spent the last 18 months studying the warnings in scripture.
Many of these warnings are direct quotes of Messiah, or are the direct words of Yehova.
I find that very few people know or understand these warnings, including many in Torah community.
My goal for studying and sharing is that people can see what these scriptures say, and look into it more for themselves.
Last week my posts generated quite a bit of discussion.
Unfortunately, some of the participants jumped to all kinds of assumptions.
I was accused of many things…
Being arrogant, prideful, exclusionary, critical, condemning, claiming to be saved while others are not, and on and on and on. I never said anything that would support any of these accusations. People just did not like the scriptures I was sharing.
I’d like for people to understand that if I share the warnings in scripture [often times the direct quotes of Messiah] the negative reactions one might feel are to those warnings, not to me.
I wrote several articles last week about what scripture says about those who reject the Torah. Scripture is very blatant and straight-forward on this matter. Messiah is very bluntly honest about this idea.
I share these warnings in scripture so that people might become aware of them. At that point, they can do a number of things:
1. Believe what the scriptures say.
2. Study it more themselves to validate, or prove wrong.
3. Attack me with accusations and insults.
Please keep in mind that I’m just the messenger.
If I show scripture you don’t like, or don’t think is valid, so be it.
But I am not the problem.
And here is the important part:
If I share a warning in scripture…
1. I am condemning no one. I do not have that authority, and I would not want that authority.
2. I am not saying we should abandon the people in violation of that warning. We should share the truth with people in love, so they might make an informed decision about what they will believe.
3. I am not saying that people violating the warning are unsavable. Anyone at any time can turn to the Father and seek out the truth. We should encourage them to do that.
If a warning in scripture has consequences that will lead to our destruction, I do not want anyone to suffer those consequences.
People seem to think that since I share the warning, I am gloating over those who do not understand…
This is not the case.
We need to share the truth of scripture with others because we love them. But studying and sharing the truth of scripture should not be candy-coated, in my opinion…
What is said in scripture is important, but what is NOT said can be equally important. It’s well known that the religions of man have altered the word of our Father. The proper name of our Father was removed and pagan terms such as god and lord have been substituted. Our Father intended we know his name, which is why he told us his name thousands of times, until man removed it.
Another example is the use of the English word moon. The Hebrew word for moon is Yareach. The false pen of the scribes have substituted the Hebrew word Chodesh, with the English word moon to suit an agenda of a false calendar.
Chodesh means set apart or head of the month, depending on the context in which it is used. Chodesh does NOT mean moon. By using the word moon, the scribes would have you believe the lunar calendar is legitimate. However, nowhere in the word of our Father are we given commands or instructions to formulate a lunar calendar. In fact, our Father makes it quite clear in Isaiah 1:13-14 that he hates their new moons and their Sabbath is an abomination to him. Jubilees 6:36-38 condemns the use of a lunar calendar. It goes on to prophesy that Israel would use a lunar calendar after the death of Mosheh.
This came about after the destruction of the first temple when Yahudah was taken into exile in Babylon. Yahudah would adopt the lunar Sabbath calendar of Babylon. Yahudah loved Babylon so much, they also adopted the names of the Babylonian months. Including the name of the 4th month which is named to honor their king and god, tammuz.
